Creating genuine opportunities for vibrant and authentic engagement

On 10 December 2020, Senior Researcher, Amanda Reid, presented at the Engaging Diverse Communities and Stakeholders conference. The conference focused on improving outcomes for communities, government, and business, with keynotes by Professor Paul Spoonley, Mai Chen, and Maretha Smit.

Amanda talked about different types of communities, the role of social capital and social licence, and the importance of communities having a voice in the decisions that affect them. She also presented a framework to guide authentic engagement and relationship building.
