Nathaniel is an academic economist skilled in CGE modelling and macroeconomic analysis.
Nathaniel completed a PhD in economics, developing and applying a multi-regional CGE model for New Zealand in his thesis. Since then, he has worked as a Teaching Fellow at Victoria University of Wellington, lecturing in macroeconomics and business statistics. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Meji Gakuin University in Tokyo, Japan.
CGE modelling is a specialised field within economics and Nathaniel brings the knowledge and experience that only comes from building a CGE model from the ground up.
With 15 years of university teaching and tutoring experience so far, Nathaniel is highly skilled in distilling the key ideas from complex material to aid assimilation and insight.

In his spare time, Nathaniel enjoys spending time with family and studying Japanese language, two pastimes that are not mutually exclusive. When he is less busy he also tries to maintain his skills in various martial arts, although this often amounts to serving as a heavy bag for others to improve their skills upon.
