Gretchen is a communications specialist with expertise in strategy, stakeholder engagement and monitoring, evaluation and research in community development.
Gretchen’s unique set of skills and strengths are built on a career in communications, working for 25 years across the government, consultancy, and NGO space. Her Masters in International Development research explored perspectives on monitoring and evaluation, and specifically measuring trust, from a Māori world view.

Gretchen’s happy place is walking her dog in the trails around Wellington’s green belt. She loves spending time with her partner and three daughters and is finding new joy in planting native trees on a regenerating wetland near Kāpiti.
