Mark has more than 40 years’ experience in applied economics research and consulting.
Mark has worked at various times in academia, an industry body and in government agencies. However, the majority of his time has been spent working as a consultant, both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
His sector work has covered agriculture and horticulture, food and beverages, building and construction, tourism, and the arts and culture. Mark is skilled at developing new approaches to the analysis of policy issues and economic development challenges.
